I'm not sure if I like surprises. Can I find out what the wines are before I make a decision?

The heart of Kwaf is rooted in discovery—of new wines, styles and wineries that you may have never heard of or tried before (or some you might think you don't like)! Every season brings a new adventure, so we try to stay true to that philosophy and not spoil the surprise for you. We will sometimes post a sneak peek to our blog or social channels, but you won't be given a full list of wines before they ship. We ask you to keep an open mind (and palate).

When does Kwaf ship?

Kwaf offers a quarterly and bi-monthly wine subscription. Each month’s package ships out typically within the 3rd week of the month. Quarterly deliveries occur in March, June, September, and December, while bi-monthly shipments are in February, April, June, August, October, and December.

How is my wine shipped and how will I know when it is coming?

All orders are shipped in discreet packaging via Loomis or Canada Post Expedited Parcel, unless otherwise indicated. Once your order has left our facility, it is typically 2-10 business days until time of delivery. Some rural and remote locations can take longer to arrive. An email with your tracking number will be sent as soon as your order goes out, and you can track the status of your package on either the Loomis or Canada Post websites.

What happens if I'm not home to receive the package?

We work with Canada Post and Loomis to deliver your bimonthly or quarterly wine subscriptions.


Canada Post will leave a message card notifying you that your package is ready for pickup at your local Canada Post office. You will need government issued ID and/or proof of address in order to claim your order (as per Canada Post regulations). They will hold the package there for up to 15 business days, after which it will be returned to Kwaf’s warehouse.


Loomis will make two attempts to deliver your package to your address, and will require your signature at the door. If you are not there when they attempt delivery, they will hold it at their facility for 5 days. If the package is not retrieved in that time period, it will be returned to Kwaf’s warehouse.


In the event that your package is returned to Kwaf, you will be contacted to arrange a redelivery of your missed package. The second delivery is at the customer’s expense, and a payment will be processed for the cost of the reship.


Subscription Packages

When I join the club, am I signed up for ongoing shipments?

Our subscription works the same as any other subscription service (think magazine, newspaper, etc.) You will be automatically billed every three months for each box about one week prior to shipping. We always send out a reminder before each box ships so you have the opportunity to skip, cancel or update your information up to 2 business days before the payment is processed.

Am I locked in for a whole year?

Nope! You can cancel your subscription at any time, penalty-free. We do ask that you cancel at least 2 business days prior to the next shipment charge. We always send out an email reminder beforehand so you have time to make a decision. Once a season's order has been processed, we cannot cancel your current order. Any cancellation requests sent after a seasonal order has been processed will be applied to your account going forward.

The Gift of Kwaf

How does gifting Kwaf work?

We have several great Kwaf gift options, you can give a bimonthly delivery or a quarterly delivery. Gifts are pre-paid, so you select the term and number of deliveries up front. Each gift frequency is available in 6 month or 12 month duration.

I love Kwaf and want to send one as a gift! Do I have to sign up for the subscription or can I buy just one shipment?

We always want to do what we can to help share great Ontario wine! Single shipments of each season's box are made available for purchasing as one-time gifts. We usually call them Discovery Packs and will let you know as soon as they are posted on our store via our email newsletter or check our Exclusives page to see what is available.

How do I suspend/skip deliveries?
