Dick Snyder drinks wine to fuel his ambitions—and to make friends. He’s been writing about food and wine for 15 years, and is studying for his diploma via the U.K.-based Wine and Spirit Education Trust. Snyder strives to make wine approachable and inspiring to both newbies and wine veterans alike, and to convey the joy and wonder that makes exploring the world of wine a lifelong pursuit. He writes for such international publications as enRoute (Air Canada) and Cara (Aer Lingus), as well as The Globe and Mail, Harry and Zoomer. He also owns and edits Toronto’s CityBites magazine (www.citybites.ca).
