The Part-time Gift Sales Specialist will be the face of Equity Wine Group’s new gifting company to our external customers.

ABOUT THE PART-TIME Gift Sales Specialist:

The Gift Sales Specialist is responsible for providing exemplary selling and customer service that is designed to improve the profitability of the holiday program. The Sales Specialist provides the customer with product recommendations and solutions by working proactively with them, and serves as a role model of best practice direct to consumer execution. The overall focus is on sales and service at all times.

DAILY DUTIES:

  • Actively build gifting database of corporate clients
  • Mine database for sales opportunities
  • Phone sales calls to service new and existing customers
  • Participating in the processing of shipments and additional operational tasks based on the needs of the business.
  • Maintaining a thorough and on-going knowledge of our products, services, systems
  • Monitor targets and track sales progress
  • Demonstrating values and behaviors consistent with our culture.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE):

  • 3+ years of previous experience in retail, sales or customer service (tele-sales and Business to Business selling a plus)
  • Basic wine knowledge
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, self-starter with ideas to drive sales
  • Ability to demonstrate strong customer-focused engagement and problem solving
  • Comfort using web-based applications, Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that meets the needs of the business.
  • Ability to carry up to 40 pounds.

Compensation will be hourly plus opportunity for performance-based bonus.
