Why we're drinking this
To kick off the “Pinot Affair” event this weekend in Niagara, there isn't a better way to celebrate than sampling one of the best examples of our cool-climate wine. Henry of Pelham quality is usually very high across their entire portfolio, so their juice is a reliable purchase. When we can nab this Niagara staple at the LCBO for two bucks off, we jump on it.

Tasting note
A textbook example of what smart people love about Pinot Noir. You have to put in the effort, as with any good relationship—so take a pause and get to know this wine. It’s light in colour, delicate, lively and juicy, with quite a bit of finesse. You’ll get a lovely burst of ripe red berry fruit and a dash of earthiness—even a little white mushroom. The finish is unexpectedly long. Overall a lovely wine.
