How does gifting Kwaf work?
What happens if the gift recipient is not home to receive the package?
If someone over the age of majority in their province is not available to sign for the package at the time of delivery, the carrier will leave a notice card indicating the closest Canada Post office where the recipient can pick up their package. They will need government issued ID and/or a proof of address in order to claim their order (as per Canada Post regulations). Canada Post will hold their package for them up to 15 business days before it is returned to us.
How is the wine shipped and how will the recipient know when it is coming?
All orders are shipped in discreet packaging via Canada Post Expedited Parcel, unless otherwise indicated. Once their order has left our facility, it is typically 2-5 business days until time of delivery. Some rural and remote locations can take longer to arrive. An email with the tracking number will be sent as soon as your order goes out, and they can track the status of their package on the Canada Post website.
When does Kwaf ship?
Kwaf offers quarterly and bi-monthly wine subscriptions. Our quarterly wine subscription ships out mid-month in March, June, September, and December and our bi-monthly option ships out mid-month in February, April, June, August, October and December. If you chose a Discovery Pack, it will ship out within a few business days.
